Course Topics

Project Initiation and Charter Development

Develop a comprehensive project charter by defining clear project objectives, setting SMART goals, outlining scope, and establishing success criteria that will guide your project execution.

Comprehensive Project Planning

Construct a detailed project plan that aligns with project objectives and stakeholder expectations, applying skills in identifying tasks, setting milestones, managing dependencies, and allocating resources.

Risk Management in Practice

Throughout the project, implement proactive risk management strategies. Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and practice responding to risks as they arise during project execution.

Project Performance Analysis and Reporting

Analyze project performance data and create stakeholder reports. Apply data storytelling techniques to effectively communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to various stakeholder groups.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

Throughout the project, manage stakeholder expectations and adapt communication to different stakeholders and situations.

Project Closure and Lessons Learned

Conduct a thorough closure process by finalizing deliverables, conducting a retrospective, and documenting lessons learned for future projects.

Personal Closing Reporting

Reflect on your project management journey, identifying areas of strength and opportunities for further growth, and update your professional portfolio with artifacts from the capstone project.
